The team works closely with Supplier Management to sort out queries, keep things moving and find ways to make processes work better.

- Team mailboxes and queries: Manage incoming requests and respond within agreed timescales, providing helpful and timely support.
- Working with others: Build good working relationships with colleagues across Operations and Finance, suppliers and local authorities. Take part in regular meetings to share updates and help resolve issues.
- Team administration: Support the day-to-day running of the team, including document storage, mail, printing and helping colleagues when needed.
- Processes and controls: Keep working instructions and process maps up to date, follow company policies and data protection requirements, and look for ways to make processes simpler and more effective.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is organised, has a good eye for detail and can keep on top of a busy workload. You'll be comfortable communicating with different people, managing deadlines and getting to the bottom of queries when something doesn't look right.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload effectively.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to resolving queries, keeping information accurate and following things through.
- The ability to listen, adapt to changing priorities and seek support when needed.
You'll need to complete the required Pubs Code training and keep up to date with mandatory learning and internal communications.
If you're organised, enjoy working with people and take pride in getting the details right, this could be a great opportunity to build your experience and develop your career within Star Pubs.
We embrace learning and growth, and we anticipate there is scope to develop in this role. You’re also likely to bring experiences to this role that are not listed above – as long as you have a thirst for learning and development, not every box needs to be ticked regarding skillsets.
