The internship

Heineken Business Services (HBS) is in an exciting phase as we continue building a scalable, global operating model. In this internship, you’ll support the PMO team in areas such as reporting, critical governance processes, and continuous improvement activities connected to our roadmap. Your work will help strengthen standard ways of working, improve data and reporting structures, and support the coordination and insights needed to enable better, faster and cheaper Business operations across the globe.

You will support activities such as:

  • Support in (improving) governance & knowledge Management processes
  • Preparing and enhancing recurring management reports and program dashboards
  • Driving technology & AI use case faster decision making

(Tasks may evolve depending on project phase, priorities, and market rollout timing.)

 

Your new team and workplace

You will join the HBS PMO team in Amsterdam — a central team supporting markets worldwide as part of a transition towards globally connected Business Services. The environment is collaborative, international, and dynamic, with a mix of operational focus and long-term transformation work.

We work across different functions, markets, and capability areas, so you’ll gain visibility into how the HBS program team fits into a broader ecosystem of shared services, technology, and global operating models.

Throughout your internship, you'll have opportunities to engage with colleagues across HBS disciplines and contribute ideas to strengthen how we work and operate as a program and ultimately a global network.

  • Interest in working with data and reporting, with a willingness to support structured outputs and ensure information is accurate and well-organized
  • Curiosity about project management and governance processes, and an eagerness to support routine activities and improve ways of working
  • Openness to learn and work with tools, dashboards, or simple automation, while contributing to small improvements over time
  • Good communication and coordination skills, enabling you to support meetings, track actions, and collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are required to complete an internship as part of their university or higher education programme and who have a formal internship agreement or academic commitment in place. Please indicate this when applying for the internship!

                                                          

Nice to have (not required):

  • Experience with Excel or Power BI
  • Interest in Shared services/ Global Business Services

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.
    1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
    2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  2. You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.
  3. You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).

 

 

Our Internship Conditions

During your time as an intern at HEINEKEN, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where growing and learning are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we brew your future step by step. In addition, we offer you:

 

  • A full-time internship, starting on February 2, 2026
  • The duration of the internship is 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor)
  • Your home office will be located in Amsterdam.
  • At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home
  • You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40-hour workweek
  • You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship)
  • If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed
