The Internship
As a Global Procurement ESG Regulatory Compliance Intern you will support the Global Procurement ESG regulatory compliance agenda within HEINEKEN. You will work closely with the Procurement ESG Regulatory Compliance Managers and help shape how we respond to the fast-evolving landscape of sustainability regulations—like CSRD, EUDR, and CSDDD—with confidence and clarity.
At HEINEKEN, Procurement owns the Scope 3 agenda, playing a pivotal role in driving carbon footprint reporting and ensuring our supply chain aligns with our sustainability ambitions. Every year, our efforts contribute to HEINEKEN’s Annual Report, showcasing our progress and commitment to responsible business conduct.

Your Responsibilities
- Support quarterly procurement reporting and data accuracy.
- Support in implementing the HEINEKEN Business Partner Policy, including driving communications to all stakeholders.
- Drive the Key Strategic Procurement Initiative with the Operating companies and track their progress
- Assist with obtaining all relevant data relating to CSRD KPI’s, including tracking, coordination, and follow‑ups with Operating Companies.
- Support documentation, record‑keeping, and audit‑readiness activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying trends, gaps, or insights in EU regulatory compliance data (CSRD, EUDR, CSDDD).

Within Global Procurement Enablement, we ensure HEINEKEN Global Procurement teams can do what they do best: build strong supplier relationships, ensure policy compliance, and deliver business value. The Governance team plays a key role in driving responsible sourcing, risk management, and global standards.

- You are currently enrolled at a university (Bachelor’s or Master’s level).
- You have an interest in procurement, ESG regulatory compliance, governance and change and communications.

- You are proactive, curious, and not afraid of complex challenges.

Conditions of HEINEKEN
- You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.
- In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
- In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
- You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.
- You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).
Our Internship Conditions
During your time as an intern at HEINEKEN, you’ll work in a dynamic environment where growing and learning are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we brew your future step by step. In addition, we offer you:
- A full-time internship, starting on September 1, 2026
- The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor)
- Your home office will be located in Schiphol , Amsterdam
- At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home
- You will receive a monthly internship allowance of €650 gross based on a 40-hour workweek
- You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship)
- If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed
