Title: Operator I Cellar
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
- Loading and off-loading of barrels
- Filling and emptying of barrels
- Transfer and taking up of tanks.
- Sample drawing from barrels and tanks
- Loading and off-loading of bulk tankers
- Assisting with general duties on the bottling line when required
- Assist with bulk and barrel stoke-take processes
- Assist with completing PM inspections
- Active participation in Problem-solving and TPM Level 1 team activities
- Compliance with OHS Act standards
- Maintain cellar hygiene standards
- Apply strict loss control
- Ad hoc duties when required
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- SKOP courses will be highly advantageous
- Be able to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of safety procedures and housekeeping standards will be advantageous
- Must be physically fit and strong to cope with the physical demands of the position
- Willing and able to work extended hours(overtime) when required
- Willingness to perform ad hoc duties, including in other departments, when required
- Must be a team player
- Good interpersonal skills
- Punctuality and attendance reliability
