Technology Specialist - Finance (Treasury/Banking)

This role is part of the D&T department of HEINEKEN International and is located in Heineken Global Shared Service and focuses specifically on area of Treasury and Banking. D&T is proud to bring cutting-edge innovation, strong technology and advanced analytics to HEINEKEN. The Technology Specialist is primarily focused on the implementation and support of Global Solutions as common business platforms in the Operating Companies (OpCo). The Technology Specialist supports the Business Process Owner in translating business requirements into solution design and participates in the technical development of common business platforms. The Technology Specialist is part of the Product Team, supporting the business on the common business platforms and is the IT liaison with external support partners and various other HEINEKEN teams.

As a Technology Specialist you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting various Bank and Treasury-related platforms and solutions. You will be participating in Bank Connectivity and Kyriba implementation projects being a partner in the set up and testing process for outgoing payments in Source to Pay area, support the SAP Autobank team with queries and request for incoming bank statements, liaise with Treasury department as well as the Swift Bureau and STM/Broadridge and BNP CONNEXIS. Your expertise will support our system integrator deliver the requirements swiftly and seamless. You will also play an active role in information gathering for the internal control related to the platforms supported by the team.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • ensuring the product design and implementation adheres to functional requirements, architecture and security standards
  • ensuring solution is aligned with Enterprise Data Model
  • delivering working product enhancements within the allocated timescale and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire a zero defect culture
  • supporting implementation and execution of IT controls
  • demonstrating product features during sprint reviews to stakeholders
  • ensuring consistency of the overall solution
  • support BAU activities when needed
  • Bank Connectivity and Kyriba Projects:
    • assisting in Bank Connectivity roll out as part of Digital Backbone Program
    • assisting in Bank Connectivity projects from OpCo’s that start the Bank Connectivity journey earlier then the Digital Backbone Program
    • ensuring the product design and implementation adheres to functional requirements, architecture and security standards
    • assisting in tasks for the 2026 and beyond roll out for Kyriba Treasury solution.

You are a good candidate if you have:

  • Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in a technology, engineering, business, or related discipline, with a focus on applying technology to solve business challenges
  • excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
  • analytically and quantitatively strong, highly structured
  • technical background with experience in one or more IT areas
  • team player attitude and ability to work effectively within the product team
  • ability to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and build consensus
  • experience in coordinating work between teams with various backgrounds will be seen as a plus
  • Agile Mindset
  • 3-4 years of experience in business/IT consulting, particularly in the management and maintenance of business platforms/applications
  • strong analytical skills, with a proven record of contributing to process improvements/standardization projects
  • ability to work effectively within a product team and influence others to move toward consensus
  • ability to work independently on majority of tasks, with limited support required for more complex issues
  • SAP Finance experience with integration with SAP Source to Pay, payment file integration
  • experience with IT systems used in treasury operations
  • knowledge of banking connectivity solutions, including host-to-host integrations with corresponding middleware solutions
  • in-depth understanding of banking interfaces and protocols, such as SWIFT, BACS, and SEPA, and their integration with ERP systems
  • understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to treasury and banking IT systems.
