The Solution Architect – Warehouse Platforms is accountable for ensuring that warehouse solutions align with business objectives, enterprise technology standards, and architectural strategies, delivering scalable, secure, resilient, and sustainable solutions that support current and future logistics operations. 

Your responsibilities would include:

• defining, maintaining, and evolving the target architecture for Warehouse Management solutions, with SAP EWM as the core platform
• ensuring the architecture supports current and future business and operational requirements
• translating business needs and operational processes into scalable and sustainable technology solutions
• driving the long-term architectural vision and technical roadmap for warehouse platforms
• acting as the architecture lead and subject matter expert for SAP EWM and related warehouse technology capabilities
• defining solution design principles, integration patterns, and extensibility approaches for warehouse platforms
• assessing the impact of new initiatives, features, and changes on the overall solution architecture
• supporting warehouse transformation, standardization, and process optimization initiatives through sound architectural practices
• designing and governing integrations between warehouse technology capabilities and enterprise systems, including ERP, transportation, manufacturing, automation platforms, prebuilt solutions, third-party applications, and shared corporate services
• ensuring interfaces, data flows, dependencies, APIs, events, and integration standards are properly designed, documented, and managed
• maintaining end-to-end process and system consistency across the warehouse technology landscape
  ensuring solution designs align with Enterprise, Portfolio, Domain, and Platform Architecture standards and principles
• promoting the adoption of strategic technologies, reusable patterns, and corporate reference architectures
• participating in architecture reviews, governance forums, and decision-making processes
• owning and safeguarding non-functional architecture requirements including security, privacy, compliance, scalability, performance, resilience, availability, maintainability, supportability, and disaster recovery.
• ensuring non-functional requirements are considered throughout solution design and delivery
• evaluating solution alternatives, technology options, and architectural approaches
• leading technical assessments and provide recommendations based on business value, feasibility, operational impact, cost, and strategic alignment
• guiding key architectural and technology decisions across the warehouse platform portfolio
• identifying, documenting, and managing architecture risks, technical debt, constraints, and design trade-offs
• defining mitigation and modernization plans to ensure long-term sustainability of warehouse solutions
• collaborating closely with Product Owners, SAP teams, developers, technology specialists, implementation partners, and vendors throughout the delivery lifecycle
• supporting backlog refinement, architectural runway planning, technical enabler definition, estimation, and implementation planning
• providing architectural guidance during design, build, testing, and deployment activities
• ensuring delivered solutions remain aligned with the approved architecture and design principles
• architecture governance and documentation
• maintaining architecture documentation, solution designs, diagrams, architecture decision records (ADRs), and required governance artifacts
• ensuring architecture repositories and tools such as LeanIX are updated and accurate
• driving completion of required architecture reviews, approvals, assessments, and compliance activities
• contributing to platform roadmap development, lifecycle planning, upgrades, and modernization initiatives
• supporting technology obsolescence management and continuous platform improvement
• identifying opportunities for simplification, standardization, reuse, automation, and optimization across.

You are a good candidate if you have:

• strong experience in Solution Architecture roles supporting warehouse and logistics platforms
• deep knowledge of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) and related warehouse technology capabilities
• experience with warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, warehouse execution, and logistics processes
• experience integrating SAP EWM and related warehouse technology capabilities. with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP,
• automation systems, and third-party applications
• a strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and data flows
• experience working within complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders, platforms, and vendors
• knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, governance processes, and architecture best practices.
