GPM Process consultant Logistics DtW (12-Month fixed term)

As a Process Consultant Logistics DtW you will support the Demand to Warehouse E2E process. In this role, you spearhead the Logistics functional area and contribute to end-to-end (E2E) processes by collaborating with Process Consultants from other functions across StP, DtW, MtC, RtR and BPM. You act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your domain, delegated by the Global Functions, responsible for bringing model processes to life within ERP platforms and working closely within cross-functional process teams.

 

You have the mandate to propose process improvements and to review requests for (temporary) derogation, while final approval of solutions remains with the FO. You coordinate and bring together dedicated, focused SMEs, leveraging your full domain knowledge. Your primary objective is to continuously improve and expand the Global template and ensure its effective translation into the ERP platforms.

 

Your responsibilities would include: 

 

  • supporting the E2E Stream Lead in proactively managing the respective E2E process
  • validating the process designs
  • ensuring standard processes and HEPM are aligned
  • translating the process standards into solutions in the ERPs
  • proposing to the Design Authority redesigns of existing processes based on the analysis of improvement opportunities and prioritization of identified solutions
  • proposing to the Design Authority designs of new processes and/or advanced functionality, which can come from the Global Functions, the reference groups, and from Operating Companies 
  • creating and/or updating procedures and manuals that detail processes and can serve as a basis for work execution
  • facilitating process derogation and change requests
  • introducing and rolling out new functionalities and understanding the implications on the current processes and on the business for OpCos in scope
  • guiding Operating Companies in scope to follow the standard process
  • ensuring process changes are modelled/updated in HEPM
  • setting up and maintaining regular contact with the Reference Groups to assess process improvement potential
  • managing major organizational projects that involve process improvement efforts within scope
  • proposing measurable PPI definitions and calculation
  • advising on PPI change requests
  • working with Digital & Technology to implement PPIs in automated process performance dashboards for the relevant ERP platforms
  • driving CI in the PPI measurement
  • regularly reviewing PPIs to identify potential process improvement areas
  • ensuring process changes are properly implemented using the release management procedure
  • managing the change associated with capability implementations by:
    - identifying the needs and positions of all interested parties (stakeholders)
    - creating the sense of urgency 
    - incorporating change management activities into programme plans to ensure stakeholders understand and support the change journey
    - addressing any cultural sensitivities. 

 

You are a good candidate if you: 

 

  • 3-5 years of working experience in a similar role, a complex international environment, or the FMCG industry
  • specific experience in Demand to Warehouse (DtW) Logistics processes, including:

    • Management of RPM
    • Management of inter- and intracompany transactions
    • Subcontracting process
    • Internal movements and inventory management processes, including stock movements between storage locations, stock transfer orders, scrapping, counting, tracking and tracing
  • knowledge of business process design and modelling techniques and tools
  • capability to work in a cross-functional environment
  • strong communication skills, explaining complicated subjects in clear and simple language
  • consultancy skills, being critical when needed
  • understanding of the interaction between business processes and technology
  • fluency in English.
