The role is part of the Digital & Technology (D&T) department of HEINEKEN International, located in the HEINEKEN Business Services. D&T is committed to delivering cutting-edge innovation, strong technology, and advanced analytics to ensure HEINEKEN maintains a competitive edge in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. The Data Dictionary Specialist plays a key role in implementing HEINEKEN's data strategy, focusing on designing, delivering and supporting a common and consistent Data language within HEINEKEN by translating Business language into unified Data Standards, Business Terms, Business Rules, Reference Data and metadata delivering value to E2E Processes within HEINKEN. It also requires understanding on HEINEKEN and best class industry business process and standards to sustain articulated conversations with main stakeholders in different organizational levels at HEINEKEN.
Your responsibilities would include:
- For complex domains, keep the Data Dictionary relevant and valuable by:
- Eliciting business rules and business terms from Functionals Owners and Data Business Owners
- Translating business terms and rules into re-usable data standard
- Maintaining the data taxonomy, data classifications, business rules/term relationships and classification frameworks in Collibra
- Collecting document, and align data terminology and data elements
- Perform data validation and ensure data consistency across systems
- Lead application and process improvements leveraging AI and integrations
- Train and mentor junior team members and partners consultant
- Evangelise the benefits and value of Data Dictionary for the organisation
You are a good candidate if you have:
- Bachelor/master's degree in computer science
- 5+ years of experience in a data related roles
- Background in FMCG industry and standards
- Extended understanding (passion!) of data governance and data lifecycle management
- Extensive experience in operation management of common master data (Customers, Vendors, Materials and Finance records)
- Good communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into data requirements
- Extended knowledge of industry standards, e-Commerce, e-Supply Chain and e-Finance is preferred, depends on the domain and function
- Hands on experience in administering Data Management tools (e.g. Collibra, Power Me, Ataccama, possibly DataBricks) and reporting tools (PowerBI)
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to design and propose actions to reduce data inconsistencies and governance gaps
- Experience in Supply Chain Standards for FMCG, ISO, DAMA, GS1 and Consumer Goods Forum is desirable, where ASCM member and MM/PP/DS/QM/PM SAP certification are a plus
