D&T Business Control Analyst - Regions

Your responsibilities would include:

• partnering with and actively engage the four regional D&T Directors (AME, NSA, Europe and APAC) and Operating Companies teams, driving business control support and contributing to priority D&T Business Control initiatives

• owning the regional D&T cost center and invoicing processes, ensuring accurate analysis and reporting of monthly, quarterly and annual regional D&T financial results. Support on ad-hoc requests and driving financial insights for decision-making

• working closely with regional D&T teams for the annual and strategic plan budget build-up, consolidating regional entities, identifying budget deviations and providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders

• driving communication with regional D&T Directors and stakeholders on financial and business control topics, ensuring alignment and strengthening financial capabilities through targeted guidance and training

• actively contributing to regional D&T operating company meetings, providing insights and recommendations to influence business control priorities and decisions

• driving analysis and consolidation of large datasets, translating financial information into clear insights and strategic recommendations for stakeholders

• owning and ensuring the accuracy of year-end processes and monthly accruals for the D&T regional office, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and reporting standards

• driving continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy and insight generation

• engaging Regional Finance Directors and Regional D&T Directors to provide business partnering on both Local D&T spend and recharges from Head Office, providing oversight on ~EUR 1b Global D&T spend 

• providing support to OpCos and Regions with further information and addressing ad hoc issues and questions regarding the D&T recharges, e.g. in support of Tax audits and challenges by JV shareholders

   

You are a good candidate if you have:

• at least 4-6 years of working experience in business control, related systems and reporting and

• experience in a large multinational (preferably FMCG) or consultancy company

• experience with financial IT systems (SAP, consolidation systems), Microsoft Suite, Service Now and PowerBI 

• strong analytical skills and ability to consolidate information into a simple executive summary.Ability to see the big picture, as well as deep dive into detailed financial analysis

• strong communication and relationship skills, especially with regional D&T directors. Manages relationships with stakeholders on strategic and tactical level

• people management skills, building collaborative relationships, and flexibility in prioritizing daily activities 

• fluent English
