As a D&T Business Analyst, you own end-to-end business analysis for one or more product areas and play a pivotal role in delivering value through the new e-commerce platform. You independently lead requirements discovery, analysis, prioritisation support, and documentation - translating business outcomes into clear epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria that are ready for delivery. You act as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, and key business stakeholders in a strongly distributed and asynchronous environment, ensuring shared understanding, high-quality decisions, and smooth execution. You proactively identify impacts across processes, data, and technology, help manage dependencies and risks, and contribute to continuous improvement of BA practices and ways of working—while supporting and coaching junior colleagues where needed.
Your responsibilities would include:
- leading requirements discovery and analysis for a defined product area/workstream (interviews, workshops, async elicitation), including prioritisation support
- translating business needs into high-quality delivery artefacts (epics, features, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria) and maintaining backlog hygiene
- facilitating alignment across stakeholders (PO, Tech Leads, Developers, Architects, Key Users, OpCo reps) in a distributed/async setup
- performing impact and dependency analysis across processes, data, and systems (incl. integration touchpoints and non-functional considerations)
- supporting end-to-end validation (define test scenarios with teams, support UAT readiness, verify requirement coverage/traceability).
- applying and improving BA standards (templates, traceability, documentation quality, ways of working) in collaboration with the BA community
- using data and insights to support decision-making (basic analysis, trend identification, business rules clarification)
- driving continuous improvement opportunities in processes and tools, partnering with Product and Engineering
- coaching and supporting Junior BAs on artefact quality, stakeholder communication, and BA best practices (as needed).
You are a good candidate if you:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- strong working knowledge of BA practices: requirements elicitation and prioritisation support, user story writing, acceptance criteria, traceability, process modelling (as-is/to-be), use cases, and benefits/outcome framing
- 5+ years in business analysis (or closely related roles such as product operations, process improvement, project delivery, consulting/analyst), including experience in a digital/product delivery environment
- strong understanding of business processes and functional capabilities across pricing, promotions, and rebate management within the consumer goods industry
- good knowledge of one or more leading Pricing & Promotions or Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solutions, such as SAP SD Pricing, SAP CCM, SAP VC&P, Pricefx, Vistex, or comparable market-leading platforms
- solid understanding of Agile/Scrum and product ways of working (backlog management, refinement, DoR/DoD, iterative releases); experience operating in distributed/async teams
- confidence in using data to support decisions (e.g., Excel/Sheets, basic reporting/BI exposure), defining business rules, and validating assumptions with stakeholders
- good understanding of how digital solutions are delivered (SDLC basics, environments, testing/UAT, integration touchpoints). Working knowledge or willingness to deepen expertise in at least one major platform
- preferred certifications (at least one): IIBA CCBA (or working towards), PSM I / CSM, ICAgile BA/product-related training, and/or relevant platform fundamentals (Microsoft/AWS)
- proven experience working with multiple stakeholder groups (business and technical), managing ambiguity and trade-offs, and coordinating dependencies in a distributed, async setup—ideally with some exposure to global/multi-market contexts (e.g., OpCos)
- experience supporting work with deadlines and rapid release cycles, contributing to predictable delivery by maintaining backlog readiness and requirement quality
- fluent English (written and spoken).
