Fleet Supervisor & Tarnsportation Planner - Hurghada

  1. Supervise daily fleet operations, ensuring full compliance with safety standards and company policies..
  2. Manage truck maintenance schedules and ensure timely service and repairs.
  3. Monitor fuel consumption and create PRs for fuel invoices.
  4. Track truck utilization across all warehouses.
  5. Executed order planning and routing through Oracle Transportation Management (OTM.
  6. Perform batch and picking processes to support warehouse keepers in ensuring accurate stock dispatch.
  7. Follow up on truck-related issues in the market and coordinate with transportation planners for daily order planning.
  8. Track and validate driver’s licenses in coordination with the security department.
  9. Developed and maintained distribution plans in cases of unavailability for designated delivery points.
  10. Ensure vehicle readiness before dispatch, including tire condition, lighting, and safety equipment.
  11. Assign delivery tasks to drivers to balance workload and optimize efficiency.
  12. Handle Drinkies orders, create purchase orders (POs), and prepare delivery plans accordingly.
  13. Analyze recurring breakdowns and propose preventive maintenance strategies (RCFAs).
  14. Analyze delivery patterns to reduce fuel consumption and optimize route planning .
  15. Extracted and reviewed outbound orders from SAP to ensure timely dispatch.
  16. Implement KPIs to measure fleet efficiency, driver productivity, and delivery accuracy.
  17. Participate in cross-departmental meetings to resolve delivery bottlenecks and improve service levels .
  18. Monitor carbon emissions and propose eco-friendly alternatives (e.g., Idling) .
  19. Handle customer feedback related to delivery and fleet service, escalating when needed.
  20. Followed up on the BCS file and recorded invoices related to diesel, gas, and electricity consumption.
  21. Communicated shipment numbers to warehouse keepers for smooth operational flow.

 

Systems & Reporting

  1. Track fleet expenses and enter invoices on SAP, Maximo, and Zycus systems.
  2.  Create and maintain monthly violation dashboards (seatbelt, speed, etc) on El Tayar System.
  3.   Planning customer orders using SAP and OTM systems to ensure accurate processing and timely execution.
  4.   Track expense notes and coordinate with the finance team.
  5.  Create the sick leave and overtime on the Power Apps system.
  6.  Create the team expenses (work mission – other expenses) on my expense system.

 

Team Supervision & Development

  1.   Supervise and train drivers and helper staff, ensuring mandatory training completion.
  2.  Monitor team attendance and vacation plans (drivers – helpers).
  3.   Follow up on team appraisals on the MY-HR system.
  4.   Conduct daily tracking of drivers (breakdowns, work missions, challenges).
  5.  Support the sales department with POS materials and stock coordination.
  6. Leads all drivers and workers at the location to ensure smooth daily operations.
  7. Manage HQ complaints related to the Fleet, road safety and customer premises

Safety & Compliance

  1. Ensure compliance with NAFSA requirements and safety protocols.
  2. Apply safety measures across warehouse projects and operations.
  3. Attend all relevant meetings and participate in MOSF (Morning Shopfloor) and BBS programs.
  4. Track and report near-miss incidents, unsafe conditions, and RCFA on the O2I system.
  5. Ensure proper documentation (fleet booklets, SOPs) and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
  6. Coordinated vehicle scheduling and allocation according to delivery routes and customer locations.
  7. Test the effectiveness of the emergency response procedures and evaluate staff readiness and response time. identify gaps in safety protocols -and improve future performance.
  8. Road risk assessments and customer risk assessments for delivery routes to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
  9. Regularly follow up on the emergency drill plan to ensure team readiness and compliance with safety procedures.

 

Vendor & Procurement Coordination

  1. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for trucks.
  2. Follow up on fleet-related purchase requests (PRs) and ensure timely processing through procurement systems.
  3. Assist in collecting, reviewing, and submitting invoices related to fleet services and spare parts.
  4. initiate and track quotation requests (RFQs) for vehicle repairs, tires, batteries, and other consumables.
  5. Evaluate vendor performance based on service quality, response time, and cost-effectiveness.

Education & Experiences

Educational Background

University Degree.

Years of Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fleet operations, logistics, or transportation management.

Proven track record in supervising drivers, managing vehicle maintenance, and optimizing fleet performance.

Qualifications & Other Requirements 

Proficient in SAP, Maximo, Zycus, and GPS tracking systems (telematics).

Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Power BI for reporting and data analysis.

Familiarity with TPM, 5S, and RCFA methodologies.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and coordination abilities across departments.

Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.

High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
